Community Support Program

FBI San Diego, Citizens Academy Alumni Association (FBISDCAAA) is a nonprofit organization separate and apart from the FBI. Our work is in alignment with the FBI San Diego Field Office's priorities, capabilities, needs, and objectives.  FBISDCAAA is committed to cultivate a strong bond between the FBI San Diego Field Office and our community, where trust and respect serve as the foundation for ensuring safety for all. Subject to the availability of funds,  FBISDCAAA sets aside Community Support Funding  to support community organizations, programs or projects that promote public safety through community engagement, education, partnerships, and service initiatives. If your organization would like to request funding, please review the eligibility criteria before completing the application form below. All funding is contingent upon final review and approval of FBISDCAAA board of directors. Approved funding is awarded in July and December.

Eligible applicants must:

  • Operate within San Diego/Imperial Counties

  • Be recognized as a tax-exempt entity under Section 501(c)3 or 501(c)4

  • Demonstrate mission and program alignment with FBISDCAAA objectives

  • Operate in good standing with applicable regulatory authorities

  • Demonstrate measurable community impact

Restricted uses include:

  • Private benefit to individuals

  • Political activities, lobbying or partisan electioneering

  • General operating deficits or debt retirement

  • Unrelated administrative expenses

  • For-profit businesses

  • Proselytizing, religious instruction or worship activities
